CSE Professor Emiliano De Cristofaro and his student Georgi Ganev received the Distinguished Paper Award in IEEE Security and Privacy 2025. The paper is titled 'The Inadequacy of Similarity-based Privacy Metrics: Privacy Attacks against "Truly Anonymous" Synthetic Datasets'.
