Bio
I recieved my Bachelor in Bioinformatics at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2015.
Currently I am a fifth-year PhD student in Bioinformatics working with Prof Stefano Lonardi at University of California Riverside.
My research interests are Computational Biology, Comparative Genomics, and Pan Genomes.
Research
Constructed cowpea pan-genome from de novo assemblies of seven cowpea accession.
PGV is a novel representation method based on the notion of consensus ordering that enables an intuitive, effective and interactive visualization of a pan-genome. Designed pipeline of building consensus ordering to represent pan-genome structure. Built web visualization tool to visualize each assembly in pan-genome comparing to consensus ordering.

Performed genome annotations for multiple species including cowpea, phytophthora and babesia.
