Welcome to the (unofficial)
UCR Computer Science Hiking Homepage
General Information
Our hikes are usually a one-day affair, leaving at the crack of dawn,
and returning after sunset. The hikes are relatively strenuous.
The total distances are between 10 and 25 miles, typically around 15 miles,
with altitude differences up to 5-6 thousand feet. So it might be
a good idea to get in shape before you decide to go.
Most hikes involve walking along well-maintained trails,
and no prior hiking experience is necessary.
