  This paper describes a modification to the heuristic algorithm presented in ``Data collection for the Sloan Digital Sky Survey: a network-flow heuristic.'' The modification takes into account that galaxies that are too close together cannot be captured in the same snapshot. This was not considered in the original algorithm.
