Paper review

Please read the assigned paper before each class and write a one-paragraph to half-page review. The review should not be merely be a summary of the paper, but should contain your opinion on the paper. For example, some questions to stimulate your thinking are:

• concisely, what was the key insight of the paper?

• which parts of the paper did you appreciate the most?

• were there any arguments made by the authors that you disagreed with?

• were there any portions that were unclear or merit further discussion?

• what would you ask the authors if you had the chance?
